My name is Mariama S, and I am a female home carer with a wealth of experience in providing compassionate and professional care. With a specialization in Live-in, Hourly, and Overnight care, I have had the privilege of working with individuals facing various health challenges such as Mild Cognitive Impairment, Bedbound conditions, Parkinson's Disease, Anxiety, and Depression.
One of my strengths as a carer is my ability to provide assistance with daily tasks such as bathing, toileting, and dressing. I am also trained in catheter care, ensuring that my clients receive the highest standard of care and support. In addition to these practical skills, I believe that companionship is a vital aspect of care, and I take pride in providing emotional support and engaging in meaningful conversations with my clients.
Outside of my work as a carer, I have a range of hobbies that keep me energized and balanced. I enjoy going for long walks, dancing, and spending time in the kitchen cooking and baking. Socializing with friends and family is also important to me, as is curling up with a good book and delving into different worlds.
While I don't currently have a car, I am a licensed driver and have access to reliable transportation, ensuring that I am able to meet my clients' needs and take them to appointments or on outings if necessary. I am also open to working with clients who have pets, particularly fish, rabbits, birds, or turtles.
What motivates me most in my role as a carer is the opportunity to help people lead independent lives. I believe that everyone is deserving of dignity and respect, and I am passionate about providing the support necessary for individuals to maintain their quality of life and remain in the comfort of their own homes.
